Venue hire

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA In addition to the on water activities and social functions held at the club rooms, they are also available for community and public use.

The clubrooms are available for hire as follows:

  • Weddings ($500 + bond of $500)
  • Funerals ($300 + bond of $500)
  • Birthday parties ($300 + bond of $500)
  • Family reunions ($300 + bond of $500)
  • Holiday functions ($300 + bond of $500)
  • Businesses / organisations for meetings/courses (Query for pricing)
  • Shorter Functions (Query for pricing)

For set up the previous day an additional charge of $130 will apply.

Bookings from the general public will be considered on a case by case basis and a member may be required to sponsor the event. The hirer is subject to the terms and conditions set out in the Venue Hire Form.


Members of the Marsden Yacht and Boat Club are welcome to reserve the clubrooms (subject to availability) for their own personal functions. Guidelines are as follow:
  • A properly executed Venue Hire Form and payment (query for member pricing) must be received prior to the date being held.
  • A special liquor license obtained, if appropriate.
  • The member taking responsibility for the premises by signing form should remain on site throughout the entire function. (An alternate person can be appointed in advance in which case, they should sign the form)
  • Follow the rules, cleaning procedures and security procedures as per the form.
  • Be responsible for any damage.
